Activities in Tenerife

The Canary Islands are an archipelago of volcanic islands in the Atlantic ocean, located 150 km off the Moroccan coast. The archipelago forms an autonomous community of Spain and an outermost zone of the European union. Tenerife is the largest, highest and most populated (approximately 1 million inhabitants) of the Canary Islands, it is home to the 3rd highest volcano in the world (from its base) which is also the highest point of Spain: Teide (3,718 m above sea level). For the record, the Summit of Teide is in the 8th place in the world, the most visited on Google street view.Its 80 kms in length and 45 kms of width (50 by 28 miles) offers a variety of incredible landscapes as a primary forest of laurisilva, three volcanic ridgess, a Crown forest, volcanoes, pine forests, ravines – dry or filled with water. This diversity allows us to offer you plenty of activities: hiking, canyoning, climbing, quad, ride horseback or simply a good barbecue with friends in the middle of the woods.For lovers of the sea and beaches, you will not be disappointed. The variety of the seabed and its inhabitants will delight young and old. No need to be a seasoned diver to enjoy the clarity of the waters. A trip in a sailboat, Kayak or Jet skiing, learning to surf or kite surfing, aquatic hike with the turtles or simply sunbathing on a lounger, you choose.
